Posted on December 23, 2020 by hasan4978

Posted on March 7, 2020 by hasan4978

At the Prudential Center last night for the depleted Devils’ shocking win over the defending Stanley Cup champion Blues, I was texting a friend about the game and at one point he said, ‘they better play like this tomorrow’.  My … Continue reading →

Posted on February 16, 2020 by hasan4978

Coming home to write this blog about one of the wildest days ever as a Devils fan, I figured I’d try to just go through what happened and my feelings in chronological order, and I’m still going to try to … Continue reading →

Posted on January 12, 2020 by hasan4978

Last week in this space I said the Devils were about one or two wins away from turning me back into a believer after their stirring win at Nassau last Thursday, finishing off a 6-2-1 run through the new year.  … Continue reading →

My last blog was basically an overview of the decade itself and all the main events on and off the ice by year.  This time I’ll expand the Devils retrospective by looking more closely at the top ten games and … Continue reading →

Devils decade in review: Mostly dark clouds with a couple of bright patches

Posted on December 18, 2019 by hasan4978

I’ve seen some decade in review things sporadically including podcasts and whatnot, plus the NFL’s 100th anniversary stuff but it didn’t really occur to me to do a decade in review for the Devils until I saw someone bring up … Continue reading →

Devils hit rock bottom (perhaps)

Posted on November 30, 2019 by hasan4978

Normally I leave the Devil-Ranger recaps to Derek and certainly things are looking much better on the other side of the river at the moment with the Rangers above .500 and actually getting contributions from more than two or three … Continue reading →

Devils thankful for a rare win on Turkey Day

Posted on November 28, 2019 by hasan4978

Quite frankly tonight’s odd Thanksgiving game in Montreal was the first I’d really paid much attention to in the last couple weeks, though I didn’t watch as much of the latter part of the game nursing a headache and turkey … Continue reading →
