Rangers look to pick up the pace tonight

The Rangers take on the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight at 7pm in Madison Square Garden. The Blueshirts will be looking to get back to winning ways against a Marc-Andrea Fleury-less Penguin team who has played the Rangers tough all season long.

As of yesterday, Tom Renney had switched up the lines a bit. They looked like this:

Straka – Gomez – Jagr
Shanahan – Drury – Dawes
Prucha – Dubinsky – Callahan
Orr – Betts – Hollweg

Defense sees Marek Malik back on the bench.

Al Montoya has also been recalled, in case Henrik Lundqvist is too sick to even back up Stephen Valiquette tonight. Greg Moore has been sent back to the minors. Callahan must have been conditioned in 24 hours, because he’s back with the team and playing tonight.

I’ll be away from the computer all day today, but should be back before first drop of the puck.
