Devils revert back to form early in Game 4, run out of gas late in a 5-2 loss

Posted on April 28, 2025 by hasan4978

Fifty-two seconds…that’s all it took for all the good vibes of Game 3 and the fans’ energy in the pregame to evaporate. Fifty-two lousy seconds for Carolina to dominate us on the first shift, for Dougie Hamilton to make a … Continue reading →

Posted on April 26, 2025 by hasan4978

As someone who’s been down on this team for months and really the better part of two years, I have to agree with the coach here…last night was nothing short of a heroic display of grit and determination at home. … Continue reading →

Devils live down to worst-case expectations in Game 1 loss at Raleigh

Posted on April 20, 2025 by hasan4978

If I didn’t know better I’d swear this was 2023…or 2006, or 2002. Whatever year you want to name where the Devils go down to Carolina to start a series and promptly look intimidated and not ready to play playoff … Continue reading →

Posted on April 9, 2025 by hasan4978

A lot of times in media, people use the words stunned or shocked a little too liberally but it’s not hyperbole to say pretty much me and the entire hockey world was shocked to see the news of Ray Shero’s … Continue reading →

Devils’ team and GM have both failed the fans in 2025

Posted on March 8, 2025 by hasan4978

In many ways, the Devils’ disappointing 2025 came to a head yesterday after what can be charitably described as a puzzling, incomplete trade deadline by our joke of a general manager, which was capped off by yet another predictably dreadful … Continue reading →

Posted on March 3, 2025 by hasan4978

I’ve been wringing my hands for two months with this Devils team, not wanting to go completely off the deep end in part because of how awful the bottom of the East is – after all, the team is still … Continue reading →

Devils stabilize going into the break, all while weathering mini-injury crisis

Posted on February 11, 2025 by hasan4978

Last time I wrote, the Devils had at least beaten the Bruins on Jacques Lemaire night, snapping a four game losing streak and hopefully ending the January blues this team went through. Whatever reason(s) you want to attribute the Devils’ … Continue reading →

The good news. The New York Rangers won a hockey game last night by defeating the Dallas Stars 3-1 on Dec. 20. Reilly Smith’s shorthanded goal swung the momentum. Vincent Trocheck notched the game-winner in the second period. Chris Kreider … Continue reading →

It’s taken me a while to write, in part because I need to find my motivation back for blogging November game or week recaps, and in part because I just haven’t watched much lately for one reason or another – … Continue reading →
