Devils finally have a return of good form on Lemaire night

Posted on January 23, 2025 by hasan4978

Last time I blogged I termed the Devils’ slump a mini-crisis, it certainly became a major one since then – no doubt about it. After a troubling 1-4-1 road trip, the Devils did return home and put up a good … Continue reading →

Devils hit a mini crisis point as TV blackout hits local customers over the holiday

Posted on January 2, 2025 by hasan4978

Now that the Devils are slumping, I feel moderately guilty for not blogging during the recent homestand, where the team looked like they were hitting all cylinders and even posting good performances at the Rock. Of course, as the home … Continue reading →

Posted on December 2, 2024 by hasan4978

The last time I posted, the Devils had just completed their Florida trip and were on their first (and thus far only) extended break of the season before this most recent stretch of seven games in twelve nights, concluding tonight … Continue reading →

Posted on November 19, 2024 by hasan4978

With some actual time off between games for once this season, now is probably a good time for more of an overview post with the Devils, especially given that they’ve officially reached their quarter pole of the season. After winning … Continue reading →

It’s taken me a while to write, in part because I need to find my motivation back for blogging November game or week recaps, and in part because I just haven’t watched much lately for one reason or another – … Continue reading →

Posted on October 24, 2024 by hasan4978

After a strong 5-2 start to the season, the Devils have hit their first mini-crisis (for the moment) after back-to-back home games where they allowed a combined fourteen goals in losses to Washington and Tampa Bay. There’s only so much … Continue reading →

Devils continue strong start with holiday shutout of Utah

Posted on October 15, 2024 by hasan4978

In some ways, yesterday felt like the start of hockey season to me even though we’re already five games into our regular season (while other teams like the Caps just played their opener on Saturday, against us!). Don’t get me … Continue reading →

Devils take both overseas games with back-to-back dominant performances

Posted on October 6, 2024 by hasan4978

Ever since this cross-continent beginning of the season was announced, with the fact Lindy Ruff was named coach of the Sabres just days after the 2023-24 season, I was a bit anxious about having to play two games with them … Continue reading →

Devils getting set to begin anew in Prague

Posted on October 2, 2024 by hasan4978

We’re now approximately almost two days away from the official beginning of hockey season – at least for the Devils and Sabres – and while I don’t remember there being any official roster announcement, you can pretty much tell what … Continue reading →

Posted on June 19, 2024 by hasan4978

After seemingly an entire calendar year of rumors and speculation (if not longer), the Devils finally got their man, announcing a deal for Calgary’s Jacob Markstrom – at just over 30% retained for a top-ten protected first-rounder in 2025 and … Continue reading →
