Some Comfort

We still own hockey on national TV. That won’t change for a loooooong time.

Or maybe they’ll get smart and realize they got a 1.3 from 4 western teams and a 1.0 from 4 eastern teams on 1/28 and 1/13.

As for New Yorkers, it’s still 17 combined games we have to wait till’ 3:55 to watch in Standard Def.

I’m curious to see what waiting until 3:30 will do for hockey. On a Sunday it works, because people do a lot on Sunday morning, and come home and watch sports the rest of the day. So I feel February 11 for the Devils and the 18th for the Rangers will be no different.

But Saturday? Please.
